Love is patient,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
It always protects,
always trusts,
always hopes,
always perseveres.
Love never fails.
How to Succeed in a Marriage
It is a matter of “give and take.”
While we all “take”, remember to “give” as well.
A marriage is doomed to fail if one “takes” exclusively;
while the other “gives” exclusively.
The one who "takes" exclusively is selfish.
The one who "gives" exclusively does more harm than one realizes.
